On the 29th of June we celebrated our traditional “Calahonda Day” party.
The celebration of this party started with the intention of the neighbours being able to share moments in a relaxed and festive atmosphere at a time of the year when there is good weather. This is possible thanks to everyone’s cooperation, Town Hall of Mijas, the sponsors who supply the trophies for the competitions, the companies of the area who give presents for the children. Also thanks to the EUC staff and the Board of Directors who cooperate selflessly. Of course the party wouldn’t be possible without the attendance of the neighbours of Sitio de Calahonda and therefore we encourage you to share this afternoon with us.
On Saturday our party started with the traditional children’s games and environmental workshop. we started with the entries and then we had a sack race, ball games, etc. After the games there was a bouncy castle where the children jumped about while their families danced to the music of Magic Queen.
