As summer comes to an end and things start to get back to normal after the busy holiday months, September has brought plenty of activity for our maintenance team. After a season focused on keeping the area clean and tidy—while still handling day-to-day issues—we’ve continued working at a good pace this month.
Here are some of the main tasks carried out during September.
Repairs on the Roads
Sitio de Calahonda celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2023. As you can imagine, after so many years, some signs of ageing naturally appear on our streets. That’s why our team is constantly carrying out maintenance and repair work to keep our roads in good condition and ensure they continue to look well cared for, despite the passing of time.
Various Repairs
In an urbanisation of this size, our maintenance team is always busy dealing with issues that simply can’t wait. Every day brings new small repairs and tasks needed to keep everything in good condition—like the ones shown in these photos.
Green Areas
Our green areas are a key part of the daily maintenance of the urbanisation. We also have two beautiful interpretive trails that require a lot of our attention. This time, we carried out various works on the trail that runs from Avenida de los Jardines to the Calahonda-Vivero Park, and we warmly invite everyone to visit and explore it.
Keeping Our Streets Clean
In Sitio de Calahonda, we’re proud of our many pine trees. While the falling pine needles create a lot of extra work, especially on windy days—just ask our cleaning staff—they’re always there, on the front lines, working hard with a smile. We never get tired of reminding everyone that their responsibility covers far more streets than in many other municipalities.
