Works in March 2025

With the arrival of spring and the warmer weather, the EUC Sitio de Calahonda has intensified maintenance and improvement efforts throughout the urbanisation, aiming to ensure everything is in top condition ahead of the summer season.

During March, our maintenance team focused on repainting and other tasks to enhance the overall appearance of the area. These actions, along with ongoing urgent repairs, reflect our continued commitment to maintaining a clean and pleasant environment for all residents.

In addition, we have begun reviewing the green areas in order to plan this year’s fire prevention measures, in accordance with the established Protection Plan. These actions are essential for ensuring safety and preserving the natural beauty of our surroundings.

Regarding street lighting, we have noticed a slight improvement after raising repeated complaints to the Mijas Town Hall about the poor service—some streetlights had been out for several weeks. While the lighting system is the responsibility of the Town Hall, the EUC continues to cooperate by reporting issues twice a week through our security staff, who keep track of incidents such as broken or non-functional streetlights. We also register and report any notices received from property owners immediately.
